Chioma’s Transformation

Chioma Omeje hails from Ngwuru Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. She’s a 13-year-old girl born with Genu valgum. Lost her father at a very tender age and was left with her mother and two of her siblings. Due to a lack of finances, she grew up to 13 years without medical intervention and faced a lot of stigmatization. Many people called her a witch who has come to torment her mother while others feared if she would ever get married with her condition. With the help of the Reviving Humanity Foundation through many consultations with the medical team, there was a surgical correction done and she was made whole.
